Amy Zhang Warthan came to the US from China in 1993 to attend business school in Oklahoma. After getting her MBA degree she moved to Seattle, WA and then to Las Vegas, NV. In 2005, after a successful real estate career in Las Vegas, she purchased No. 1 Boba Tea Chinatown which had been in business since 1998. In fact, this location was the first boba tea store in Las Vegas!  She promptly changed the look, expanded the menu, and improved the drinks. It combined her passions for tea and for living a healthy lifestyle, using fresh fruit instead of powder and syrup as many of the competitors use.

Our eighth location, No. 1 Boba Tea Container Park, opened in January 2020. It is located in Downtown Container Park at 707 Fremont St #1090 in Las Vegas, just outside the East entrance to The Fremont Street Experience.
