Downtown Las Vegas’ premier event space and entertainment venue,
Downtown Container Park, announces new Country Throwdown event
lineup featuring line dancing, live music and drink specials.

Yippee-ki-yay and two-step the night away every second Saturday of the
month! Downtown Container Park’s new bi-
weekly hoedown ‘Downtown Country Throwdown’ will welcome guests with
a little southern hospitality offering Long Drink specials and a rotating lineup of live country music and
entertainment. From 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., dancers can show off their newfound, boot-
scootin skills accompanied by the electric pluck of guitars and the steady
rhythm of a drum when Country Throwdown’s first live band takes the stage.

Backed by Long Drink, Container Park’s trio of bars Oak & Ivy,
Downtown Terrace and Bin 702 have crafted a menu of drink specials
available to parched patrons. Cocktails include the Burnin’ Branch
(bourbon, brown sugar sweetener, BBQ bitters), Rhinestone Cowboy
(Wild Turkey, raspberries, simple syrup, lime juice soda float) and Wild
Turkey Lemonade. Entry to Downtown Container Park’s Country
Throwdown is free. Entry to the park after 9 p.m. is limited to 21+.
